The Neurosurgeon

A neurosurgeon is a physician who specializes in diagnosis and surgical treatment. They help patients with disorders such as the brain, stroke,spine,etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

They need to be prepared for performing surgery on the brain,spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.Also must be able to treat wounds,chronic pain, remove tumors and more.

Salary: $395,000- $589,500

Education:

Attend medical school and get a degree. After they earn their degree they must continue studying to renew their license.

Requirements:

• Be in a medicine field
• Leadership skills
• Empathy

• Knowledge of brain and spinal cord

Reflection:

I think I would not be interested in this field of medicine. I really don’t have a good memory to memorize the spinal cord and brain.Also i really don’t think I will be very good seeing a brain open and doing surgery.Although it is a very good job and you are also getting very well paid.
