Emergency Medical Technician

A person specialized or certified to help victims with trauma and an acute illness. They also help transport people to another hospital or medical clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

They are responsible for rushing the people to the hospital .They are also responsible to get quickly to their destination for their scene.For example if a women is having a baby it is their responsibility to rush the women over to the hospital.

Salary: $31,700

Education:

They must go to a medical technician school an an agency to be  a paramedic. Also you must complete all your handwritten  and practical exams.

Requirements:

In the medical technician school you must go to NREMT which stands for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.  You must also get your certification for passing your exams.

Reflection:

I think I would not like to be one because it is a very tiring  job. You need to hurry up and go with the patients.Many things can happen you can get in a car crash or if you do not hurry up the patient can die. If the patient dies you will always have that on your mind.Then you will start thinking the patient died because of your fault for not getting their quick enough.
